Godrevy light flashes over St Ives Bay in Cornwall, England, warning ships of a treacherous reef. Built in 1859, it has figured in paintings by the St Ives school of artists, and was an inspiration to Virginia Woolf, who visited it during childhood holidays and used these memories in her novel, To The Lighthouse.

This series, taken in 2010-14, shows the lighthouse in the context of its landscape, seascape, geology and weathers.
